Dr. Ramaekers completed her undergraduate studies at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo with a degree in Psychology. She completed a second baccalaureate degree in Nursing at Columbia University in New York and completed her Master’s of Science in Nursing and FNP certification in the Family Health Care Nursing Program at the University of California, San Francisco. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Duke University in North Carolina. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Lindsay joined Santa Cruz Community Health Centers in 2014 and has enjoyed working as a fill-in provider and as a primary care provider on the Aqua Care Team. She is passionate about preventive care, health promotion and education. In addition to working in family practice, she has 9 years of clinical experience in the specialty of dermatology and enjoys treating a variety of dermatologic conditions; areas of interest include acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancer prevention and early detection.

Lindsay enjoys running, gardening, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She speaks some basic Spanish that is improving every day.
