Healthy Pregnancy Program

Healthy Pregnancy Program at Santa Cruz Community Health

Our Healthy Pregnancy Program combines high-quality prenatal medical care, health education, and other services to best support you through your pregnancy, keeping you and your baby healthy. This program also works with Medi-Cal eligible women, from pregnancy through the end of the second month after delivery.

Types of Care We Provide:

  • Regularly Scheduled Medical Check-ups throughout your pregnancy
  • Immunizations and Lab Tests to check you and your baby’s health
  • Classes and Information on pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding and baby care
  • Counseling Appointments to help with any personal or family issues
  • Healthy Eating Tips and Information
  • Access to Acupuncture and Chiropractic Services
  • Registration Assistance with the hospital where you will deliver your baby
  • Referral to Community Agencies for additional support, such as Medi-Cal; Smoking Cessation programs; Women Infant Children (WIC) Food Programs
  • Postpartum care to make sure you recover well after the baby is born
