Cherilyn completed her undergraduate degree at UCLA in 2011 where she studied Physiological Science. After graduating from UCLA, she moved to New York City to attend Columbia University where she studied to become a Family Nurse Practitioner and received a Master of Science in Nursing in 2015. She has worked in a community healthcare setting since 2016, having always felt drawn to primary care where she believes there is the most opportunity to build trusting and lasting relationships with her patients. Cherilyn believes in a comprehensive, whole-person approach to medicine and feels strongly that healthy habits like movement and a colorful whole-foods diet are key to maintaining one’s wellbeing.
When she is not working, she enjoys spending time in nature, hiking, cycling, surfing, swimming, and practicing yoga.
