Shana Sisti (she, her, ella) is brand new to SCCH! Her role is Behavioral Health provider II. Shana is a licensed Marriage and Family therapist. She has a master’s degree in Feminist Clinical Psychology, from The New College of California. Shana has been in the field since 1999 and been practicing individual, family, couples, and group therapy for almost 20 years! Shana worked with a variety of ages, genders, couples, and issues at Planned Parenthood for ten years. Before that, Shana worked at The Parents Center assisting families in reunification through family and individual approaches. She has worked at the Camp Recovery Center in Scotts Valley, and EMQ at the level 14 group homes in Silicon Valley. Shana believes an eclectic approach blooming from many sources of influence such as Feminist psychology, psychodynamic, Gottman, mindfulness, and lived experiences of being a mother, is a strong blend that is able to meet most people where they are, and assist and encourage them getting to where they want to be. Shana strongly believes that everyone deserves to feel safe, heard, and supported and that this will benefit their communities and beyond.
Shana loves spending time with her incredible family. She finds peace and joy walking on the beach and looking at the beautiful rocks, shells, waves, and sky. Shana takes pictures of everything, wherever she goes.
