Jorge is an IT professional with over 15 years of experience working in healthcare, higher education and government sectors. His career in IT began while serving as a Staff Sergeant in the US Air Force and has had roles in service desk, desktop support, applications support, project management, system administration and cybersecurity. He earned a master’s degree in Information Technology from CSU Fullerton. 

Born in Guadalajara, Mexico but raised in Firebaugh, California. He grew up working in the fields in irrigation, harvesting and el azadon. When he is not tinkering with computers, he enjoys playing retro games with his family and composing cumbia music.
