Jill Winters, LCSW, PPSC

Jill Winters, LCSW, PPSC (she, her, hers) joined Santa Cruz Community Health in 2014 as a Behavioral Health Provider at the Women’s Health Center. She has her undergraduate degree from UCSC in community studies and women’s studies, and her Master of Social Work (MSW) and Pupil Personnel Services Credential (PPSC) from San Francisco State. Jill found her calling to social work in the mid-1990s during her academic field study at the former Santa Cruz AIDS project and Needle Exchange Program, addressing the needs of high-risk populations in this County. She has since provided direct behavioral health services and nonprofit management, in the larger SF Bay Area, primarily in community-based health settings.

In her clinical practice, Jill draws from a variety of theory and practice models such as trauma-informed, cognitive-behavioral, harm reduction and solution-focused approaches. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California #61918.
