SANTA CRUZ >> Three clinics in Santa Cruz County have been awarded federal funds for quality improvement based on performance measures used nationwide.
Santa Cruz Community Health Centers, a nonprofit with clinics at 250 Locust St. in Santa Cruz and at 21507 E. Cliff Drive, was awarded $74,232 for high marks in clinical quality improvement, health access, health equity and electronic health records. The money will be used to support the salary of the quality improvement coordinator who works with clinical care teams to improve patient health outcomes.
