
Mallory is an NP and is board certified in both psychiatry and family practice. She received a bachelors degree in psychology from UCSC, a masters in nursing from Samuel Merritt University and a post master certification in psychiatry from Johns Hopkins. She has been working as an NP in Santa Cruz since 2014 and has been with Santa Cruz Community Health since 2017. In 2019, Mallory began to focus her practice in mental health. She played an integral role in developing the psychiatry program at Santa Cruz Community Health, where she served as the Director of Psychiatry from 2022-2024. In 2024, she decided to step away from her leadership role to do more of what she is most passionate about – working directly with patients.
She works with patients ages 15 through the life span. She is experienced in the diagnosis and management of (including but not limited to) depressive disorders, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders including OCD, complex PTSD and PTSD, psychotic disorders, substance use disorder and dual diagnosis.
