Fatima is a Behavioral Health Provider II with SCCH and joined the organization in July 2024. Fatima holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Clark University in Massachusetts and a Master of Social Work degree from San Jose State. Fatima is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and holds a PPSC and CWA credential as well. Fatima is becoming certified in TF-CBT and should complete that process by the beginning of 2026. Fatima has been in the mental health field since 2017 and has primarily served youth in school-based settings. Fatima’s areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, school issues, low self-esteem, and crisis management. Fatima uses a blend of approaches including mindfulness, CBT, solution-focused, humanistic, and trauma-informed. Fatima is passionate about helping all her pts but particularly enjoys working with youth and young adults as well as Spanish speaking pts who feel disempowered and helpless. Fatima has been part of the Santa Cruz community since 2019, when she is not working, she can be found spending time with loved ones, eating yummy food, and taking exercise classes like Barre, HIIT and Pilates.
