Nonprofit health center awarded two grants Blue Shield of California Foundation is awarding the Santa Cruz Community Health Centers $15,000 in unrestricted funds.
“Our continued investment in the Santa Cruz Community Health Centers reinforces our confidence in their ability to respond to new challenges while continuing to provide high-quality care to low-income residents in Santa Cruz County,” said Peter Long, president and CEO of Blue Shield of California Foundation.
Another grant for $42,000 is being awarded by the Community Foundation Santa Cruz County to expand access to high-quality health care for low-income residents, particularly in the Live Oak neighborhood where the East Cliff Family Health Center has opened.
